Hi and Welcome to Jerrapark. Please, read carefully our Info pack prior to booking, so that we are all on the same page and have the same expectations.

We love Nature and have put a lot of Love & efforts to make this place beautiful. We are happy to share it with guests and do everything we can to ensure you have a Magical moment at Jerrapark.

Please, be respectful of the land, equipment and place while staying at Jerrapark.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF CAUTION:

 

You are responsible for your own safety and for having basic wilderness survival skills (e.g. do not approach wild animals, do not leave food out, etc.).

Jerrapark owners are not responsible for: damage to personal property, including vehicles, due to exposure to inclement weather or rural, rugged settings. By booking with Jerrapark, you recognise and accept this responsibility and affirm you have these general skills.

 

SWIMMING/WATER HAZARD: There are 2 dams and a creek on Jerrapark. These are not suitable to drink out of. Swimming is permitted under strict observance of the displayed rules. It is your responsibility to keep yourself and your party safe.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT: You are responsible for adhering to the HRIA Code of Conduct to which we also abide. Unruly, disruptive and destructive behaviour and criminal activity is prohibited.

 

CAMPFIRES: Campfires must be contained within the designated area and must me extinguished prior to going to bed or leaving. You must comply with local fire regulations as listed at www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/fire-information/fdr-and-tobans.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations or changes to your booking must be made via email or phone. In the event of cancellation of a fully paid booking, Jerrapark applies the following rules: 100% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 14 days before arrival or earlier; 0% refundable if cancelled after. If You change the date, it will be considered a new booking and will be subject to the standard cancellation procedures. When booking is done via Airbnb, we apply a Strict Cancellation Policy.

DAMAGE: You are liable for any damages caused by you or your accompanying party. This includes failure to properly exit the house (i.e. failure to follow the exit procedure outlined in this pack).

PREPARATION FOR ARRIVAL: You are expected to familiarise yourself with Jerrapark policies and get in touch with us if you have any questions before check-in. We will prepare your cabin for check-in and can assist with your arrival. Your confirmation email states contact information for Jerrapark should you need it.

 

CHECK IN: Check-in from 3:00pm and no later than 9pm. Note that Jerrapark is not necessarily easy to find, so avoid arriving after dark. You must follow the supplied route and park in the designated area. You must not attempt to drive off the supplied route and you will be responsible for all losses or damages caused if you do not follow the directions supplied.

CHECK OUT: You should leave your cabin at (or before) 11:00am. Leaving after 11:00am without prior authorisation will result in you being charged for an extra night or lost revenue. If you need to leave the location at a later time, please contact Jerrapark management prior to your arrival and ask if this is possible. We will try to meet your request but cannot guarantee late checkouts.

 

DEPARTURE: On the day of your departure you should leave your cabin clean and tidy with all waste removed from the property. Please insure that your take all your personal belongings with you. Jerrapark is not responsible for returning any personal belongings left behind after check-out but will try and accommodate its return.

 

CLEANING: The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. You are obliged to leave the property in perfect conditions, i.e. all waste should be removed, and the premises tidied. If not, there will be an additional cleaning charge.

 

NUMBER AND IDENTITY OF GUESTS: You have informed Jerrapark on the number of guests in your booking. Only those persons indicated in the booking made by you may enter the property, unless an alternative agreement has been reached with Jerrapark management. The number of clients using the property should not exceed the number assigned to each cabin, except for in the case of infants under the age of two.

 

MINIMUM AGE: All guests staying at the property must be 18 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Guests are required to use a credit card in their own name to book. No illegal substances or underage drinking are permitted at the property. Jerrapark will not be held responsible for underage drinking and violations of this policy will result in immediate expulsion from the premises without refund, and the involvement of law enforcement.

PETS/ANIMALS: Pets are generally not allowed on the property. (Contact management for particular conditions). There are 2 horses on the property that are NOT to be fed under any conditions, and approached and patted only under supervision.

 

PHONE AND INTERNET: There is mobile phone reception at the property, and internet connection providing that your phone is linked to your computer via a personal Hot spot.

 

SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted inside the cabins and must be done responsibly at a minimum distance of 10 meters from the building. Litter is not permitted on the land, and you must clean up all cigarette butts responsibly and safely. If it becomes clear that you have smoked or taken illegal substances in the cabins without express written permission, we will charge you a $2,000 cleaning fee.

 

EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES PROVIDED: All equipment and facilities are provided at the discretion of Jerrapark and while every attempt is made to ensure that such equipment is in working order for the duration of the rental period, should a breakdown or some other situation occur that renders non-essential element unusable, Jerrapark does not take responsibility for replacing or refunding you for the lack of use of these equipment or facilities. The equipment and facilities referred to include (but are not exclusive to) such items as stove, toilet, shower, fridge, running water, fire pit, power, bbq and sink. You must report any inoperative or defective equipment to Jerrapark immediately. We will make every reasonable effort to have repairs made as soon as possible. While every attempt will be made to ensure that all the advertised equipment and appliances are in working order at the commencement of a rental period, no reduction of rent, rebate, or refund will be issued for a mechanical failure of any appliances. Our facilities are off-grid and therefore may fail to provide essential services such as water, heat, gas, power etc.

 

SINK, SHOWER & TOILET: If you do not follow the instructions relating to the sink, shower or toilets, Jerrapark reserves the right to charge any for any costs associated with cleaning (e.g. $2,000 fee) or restoring these appliances to normal operating standards.

SAUNA & PLUNGE POOL: 

By accepting a booking at Jerrapark Hideaway train carriage experience you also acknowledge that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions that are also specifically relevant to the use of the adjacent hot tub and sauna facility known as The Pavillion.

You also acknowledge that you will communicate these Terms and Conditions to your invited guests and their friends who may be attending the facility. And further that you will caution any guest that you may suspect may have any medical infirmity that might render the use of the sauna and hot tub a danger to them.

WILDLIFE: We love and protect wildlife.  Jerrapark is home to wallabies, koalas, goannas, birds, snakes and other animals who may at times be present at the site. We hope you will be lucky enough to spot a few animals, however we kindly ask you to prevent negative interactions with wildlife in the area by not engaging/feeding with wild animals, keeping food out of reach, keeping the site clean. Harm to the land or the natural habitat of any wildlife is not permitted in any way. Jerrapark is not liable for any personal injury due to wildlife or insects.

DISCLAIMER

RULES: You agree to read and abide by all rules specific to the booking. These rules must be read and agreed to before booking confirmation. Jerrapark will also place the rules inside each cabin, accessible to you. If rules are not abided by, Jerrapark reserves the right to ask you to leave the property and pay for any necessary damages because of your disregard for these rules.

 

LIABILITY: You will not hold Jerrapark responsible for any direct or indirect damages caused to cabin or land as consequence of use. This includes damages, insurance, loss due to misadventure, fire, theft, injury (whether occurring inside the cabin or on the surrounding property), and misconduct. You provide a guarantee that you will indemnify and hold JerraPark and the landowner harmless from all claims, actions, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees arising from or in connection with any person accompanying you during their stay. In the event that you fail to comply with the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, Jerrapark reserves the right to ask you to leave the premises and property, and you in question cannot request any form of compensation. You, on submitting these terms and conditions, agree to behave responsibly and correctly on behalf of your accompanying party as well as yourself, and acknowledge that you and your guests will absolve Jerrapark from any liability associated with the aforementioned damages or injuries. If this person, or any of the accompanying party behaves in an unsuitable and incorrect manner, Jerrapark reserves the right to ask the person and their accompanying party to leave the premises. Furthermore, from that moment on they will have no right to future claims or any form of compensation. Finally, You will lose all payments made to Jerrapark. May we remind you that on booking a cabin with Jerrapark, you automatically accept our Terms and Conditions, which we expect you to comply with.
